Enough perk points but cannot pick plane

Hi All,

Maybe I'm doing something incorrectly.  I have enough points to pick a plane (b29) however, I am unable to do so.  The cost of the plane currently is 60, I have over 120 (bomber perks).  However, when I select the b29, it says I don't have enough points... hmm What am I missing?

Check and see if you have formations enabled in the hanger. A formation of 3 B-29's would cost 180 at 60 each.

If you don't have a lot of experience with the B-29 you may want to practice offline or in the Training Arena before you spend perks on it.

  Perk planes are free to try in the TA,usually a good idea to practice take offs and landing before you waist perk points in the melee arena!

Did my first run on the b29 today.  It's a very challenging bomber to take off and climb to 2k, you're good.  A little longer to reach 30k altitude but a lot of fun knowing you're a target.  This bird packs a punch.  Can't wait to try a formation!
