A way to make perk points useful
« on: October 27, 2001, 09:58:00 AM »
I got thousands of the dumb things and except for a few outings in cannon hogs "vent" against the old GV's and HO prone spits and niks...  I never use em.  I haven't the personality or patience required to play hide and seek with other (cough) "timid" perkie boys and think flying one against the current plane set is.... well, face it, pretty wussy huh?

Now, it seems that those who choose to use the damn things can affect my game by flying annoying, uber, perk rides.   I have no choice but to play dodgem and have my time online somewhat degraded but....

What if they worked both ways?  I mean, I could use my perks to cancel out other perks.... 1 for 1.   I would say, type in "remove 200 perks from LWgirlyman" and both LWgirlyman and lazs would be down 200 perks.   If someone wanted to remove my perks.... go ahead...  you just have to be good enough to buy em all.

Let's make the wussies REALLY earn em.

Lazs,

Freud would have a hayday with you.

Please, tell us again how many perk points you have and how many you've never used.  Its SOOO impressive.  I mean, you must really have a huge noodle to have so many perk points built up.  Or.... are you overcompensating again?

The only time Perk planes disturbed my gameplay was on "Free Perk Plane" night. The F4U-F is so nice I didn't mind when seeker kept harrasing me in his 262 when I was trying to rtb.I like the perk system..it's like real life, that when I get just enough dough for something nice,I instantly blow it.. :)Hows that for realism?

Lazs,

I read alot of your posts, never commented on them until now.
I just don't understand you (yeah I must be really dumb).
Never the less it seems to me like you:
- can't accept getting shot by better pilots.
- can't accept getting shot by enemies with better planes.
- can't accept getting shot by equal planes with better e-state.
- can't enjoy any sorty in AH which isn't smooth for 100%, having to avoid one atttack during that sorty already ruins it for you.
- you don't like WWII bombers, probably because you get shot down allot by them.
- you don't wanne use perk planes because you are affraid to lose em against other perk planes (uber planes), You mean you are affraid losing em against better pilots?

What DO you like? Never getting killed, only you making the kills? You being A No.1 without doing any effort for it?
An arena with only Spit-V's and 109F4's (for your early war preference).
A WWII GAME with no WWII bombers? And fek all the people that like to fly bombers.

If you can only handle planes without having to dogfight them, get into a p47, bring it to 25k and B&Z selectively picked planes (No I'm not one of those, I'm that Luftwhiner in a 190 at  10k  ;)  ) and leave the bombers alone.
Maybe you'll have smooth rides then (although I doubt it in your case).

If people that dedicate themself to fly certain (non uber planes, non perk rides) in AH and still have allot of fun, surely so can U.

if you are so fed up of the idiotic gameplay, idiotic perk system, idiotic bombers, idiotic strategy, etc etc etc...

why dont you make yourself (and the rest) a favor and quit AH?

Naah it's kinda fun to see Lazs whining and squeaking  :)

Well I gotta take that Me-262 up again. I'm going to enjoy that ride even more when I know how lazs thinks about it...  :)

Oh nooo... the LW guys don't understand me!  That's like saying I have nothing in common with pedohiles.

apar... you have not hit on one single point about my views that is accurate.   You claim to have read me a lot so yu either have a comprehension problem or a truthfulness problem.

ram... do I really need to comment on yur reply?   I'm sure that plenty of people here see the irony in you telling someone to leave if they don't like a certain feature?   Perhaps if I just threatened to quit (over and over) I would have your respect?  Maybe it would be better if I quit and then came back with my tail tucked between my legs instead of suggesting ways to fix obvious problems?

Now, for the slow witted LW types... I enjoy the game as much or more than you do...  Work from that premise and then try again to figure out what I am saying.

and staga... well... I realize I'm just a rubber hammer to the knee of his black jumpsuit.

Now... seriously.... what do you think of my idea and why do you think it?

lol lazs this is a crazy idea.. would be funny if ever implimented.

Kinda realistic (enphize kinda) Battle buy economy..
 :D

I dont much like the 262s and tempest, but i also dont have a problem evading there attacks.

I wish everyone used such survial tactics that the perk riders do, maybe then we could see a little more realistic comabat insted of people trying outlandish risky attacks (HO, among others) with the thought of: "who cares if i die, ill just get another plane in 2 seconds."

I'll accept Lazs's suggestion on ONE condition:

Anytime he robs perk points from another player, every plane he flies will receive a special paint scheme. The robbed player chooses the paint job. This effect would lasts for a number of days equal to the number of perk points taken away...

I would like to see him in a day-glo pink F4U spotted with green and yellow flowers, and the word Spoil my fun! on the wings...

Now, Lazs, how does this rate on your idioticoanal scale?

Thanks for your attention,

OK Moose, but lazs looses 1.57 points for advancing the most ridiculous idea in a very long time.

However, I gotta give him 2.53 points for actually getting through a post without reference to "no talent bomber pilots".

That showed extraordinary restraint on his part.

So, lazs is 1.47 points ahead but looses one point just 'cause he is who he is and Ram gets .47 points for not quitting before 9AM U.S. Central time.

I guess they are even but I am not good at math.
