Ppl logging off when they outnumber the enemy is not what I see, I see ppl logging off because they can't win a dogfight in either a P51D or La 7 against a bunch of FM2's or LA5's (because as soon as they engage they are outnumbered 4-1). You think you're frustrated if you can't fly a P51? Wait until you can't protect a base WITH one.

Flying high ENY planes make anyone that does so a better pilot. So have the patience to be shot down in a POS but learn the weakness and strengths of that fighter. Once you have, fly even a P40F or I16 to success (as I have done many times). Is it easier and less frustrating to pwn your enemy with a P51? Sure, but it doesn't even compare to the satisfaction (and trash talking opportunity) you have when you shoot down a P51D in a P40F or I16.

ENY does not bother me. If HTC decides to get rid of ENY then add perk to planes like P51d, la7, 190d9, p47m, spit16....I think this is a great thing to do. Perk em and fly em all you want. I think that is fair enough.

OMG, I like Rud3's thinking?  Instead of ENY blocking planes, add a perk.  Bigger the ENY, bigger the perk.

I enjoy blasting your twinky 5 ENY planes out of the sky with my 30-40 ENY planes and listen to people complain about hacks and rage PM about being a big meanie.

Do that and I will definitely leave.   But...if ENY hits I wouldn't mind being able to use perks to fly them.

Not for perking 51s...

I am for allowing perks to be spent on a 51 when it gets ENY'ed.

I am also for ENY pushing bases where one can roll further back from the front (and/or reducing/eliminating JABO ords available) vs blocking the airplane outright.

ENY with the current sideswitch timer does NOT encourage side balancing.  It encourages logging off.   Counterproductive, IMO.

More carrot, less stick, please.

Then ENY for sides has to go.

As currently implemented I can't disagree.

Well if ENY system were to change I wouldn't mind seeing an increase in perks for low ENY planes.

I'm against any change before going to steam however (if we go) as the problem as I see it is declining numbers leading to an arena mismatch. Once the numbers jump back up this problem should fix itself.

I've seen it all now,

I didn't want to say anything but I just wanted to thank HTC for the ENY system.

Today like many other days bish 23 players knight 9 rooks 11.   They had enough guys to have 5 in the air and 5 on the ground versus 2 maybe 3 defenders tops.

I didn't feel sorry for j0ker having to fly a p38G and getting owned.
I didn't feel sorry for judge having to fly a 109G14 and not being able to run away when bested.

I was ashamed when my base fell to a swarm of jeeps and had to log off for a lie down.

Now that I think about it, going to a using perks instead of ENY is pointless, everyone has thousands of fighter perks or more by now so there in effect would be NO balancing.

In effect old timers would get to pwn the newbies and the talented alike and at 4-1 odds, and there has been WAY TOO MUCH favoritism to the old timers at the expense of new blood already.

I'm going to have to say I rather just keep the current system. Grow up and fly your La5's

And everyone has thousands of them because there is no use for them,,,,, so just reset them. If there is no use for them, no one will miss them.

Negative. It's not everyone's fault others don't use theirs. I worked to get my perks to a comfortable level and use them when I wish.
