I think this is a great game and a pretty good simulator, " I would not have been here as long as I have if I didn't think so. All My other experiences with similar arenas like Air Combat. and all the World of Whatever have lasted weeks not years, but I ponder the whimsical design of the 17lb and 37 mm weapons on bases. Actual anti tank emplacements are recessed to provide a low silhouette, the only real defense an anti tank gun or rifle has. Why put them on a base when they can't even be utilized properly. Mainly the inability to depress the barrel sufficiently to engage the threats and no anti aircraft gun would have any trees around It. That gives a distinct advantage to the attacking A/C. They can shoot at You when You can't get a shot. AH2 positions were much better designed. Were they placed that way to give base assaulters an easier capture , simpler to engineer that way or just not enough for thought put into them. It can be quite frustration for those who began on AH2 like Me or even before that.
