UPDATED TBM 3D MODEL!

All the TBM fans left IL2 and Warthunder and moved to AH3.
All of them.
But you were already here..... :x

Name two things, that in your mind , that AH III has been added to the game that wasn't in AH II that has attracted new players.... not a hard thing to answer it just two things

Having a hard time with this one.. as it is the qualities of the new players I question.

I admire the old returning vets of 1 and 2 who are willing to tolerate the community of 3 in order to have fun with what balanced game we have left.

Remembering the shenanigans of AHII 10 years ago, I don't see any problems with the community of AH3 at all (other than being mostly antiquated, lacking young players).
Quite of the percieved shortcomings of AHIII's player base are, for example, just a result of much lower overall numbers.

Yeah.. perhaps so, my friend. Can't quite put my finger on it. Overall, I haven't been nearly as inspired to play 3 as frequently as I did in 2. Something lacking that was here before that the "powers that be" "fixed" right out of the game. :frown:

So you didn't have 2 things that you think were improvements? Just asking maybe, I'm missing something..

More clouds and maybe pea souper fog :old:

Shortcomings of players?,I think there are less idiots on now than 5 years ago because we choose to be here  :)

The clowns can choose other inferior flight sims to flex their spuds and be Alpha Males in cartoon land :)

No idea if new players are attracted or not, but if I were a noob (and not simply noob-like), I would be attracted by the new dueling system AND by the clouds.

Anything that I think is bad with AH3 I thought was bad in AH2...except Buzzsaw.

I think Match Play and VR updates has the most potential for the game against it's competitors.

Every graphic update is a good thing, some of the clipboard updates I thought were unnecessary. The FOV slider is awesome.

Things I'd like to see changed is town resupply and man guns....specifically the 88 shooting at planes who are fighting. I believe friendly fire should destroy the gun.

The new terrain is great.  HUD for people not going for more immersion is also a good addition.  I love that SB's now have map icons, and can show flashing for enemies.

All in all, I think the things they've done to increase the chances of PvP combat are very helpful to the game.

I personally think the changes to the GV game were needed, and should have happened sooner.  The AHII mass spawn camps or 3K+ sniping shots were detrimental to the game, and very unrealistic when it came to historic tank combat in WWII.  Between the new trees which severely limit long range sniping and make finding a good spawn camp more difficult, I think it allows players able to actually engage in combat and not just be fodder for the few people.

For all the complaints and saying we need to go back to how it was in AHII -- I would say we should go back to how it ORIGINALLY was in AHII and give me 6K icon range on GVs and let me drive a jeep inside of your tiger II and machinegun you to death.    :devil

My wife can't eat this due to religious dietary restrictions.

Most interesting fact in this thread so far.
Was not aware butter beans fell into a category for religious exclusion.

Clouds, more and better terrain detail, the ability to know GVs exist when they are attacking, more free arenas, VR.

Wiley.
