As much as I appreciate the updates HTC are making to the game, I can't help notice that most updates these days are geared more towards VR users and not so much
improving the overall game.

Personally I think it's a good idea not to half-ass the VR implementation.  But, if you ask 50 players for their opinion on what they should be prioritizing you'll get 60 different answers, so I understand your feeling. :)

Does the option allow to disable the auto-parking-brake that already seems to exists, too?

Wiley.

I agree with you there Wiley.
I just think there are more important things to do at this time.  (game freeze-micro stutters) little things like that.

As far as I've understood the freeze-stutter issue will be addressed immediately when they figure out what's causing it. The reason for them is still a mystery so it's not a "little thing".

And this is why we don't see Hitech in the forums more often.  As soon as he pokes his head in the door, people start telling him he's doing it all wrong.

Really?  I never said he was doing anything wrong.  I just noticed that VR users seem to be the center of attention at this time.
I have nothing but respect for HiTech, so don't even go there.

VR seems to be the wave of the future for some of us.  I appreciate the effort HITech and his team are making to improve VR functionality in game.  I hope at some point the visual acuity in VR can be close to or equal to that of a what is seen on a monitor.  Since I don’t know what I don’t about the technical aspect of that, it will hopefully develop via Oculus and/or HiTech.

Well done HiTech and company!  :aok
