While it was long ago, Dan, it's still an every day event.  Hang in there.

People often forget that the principle value of AH (and Bigweek!) is the community.  You make friends for life here, friends you may never meet in person, but people who make a difference in your life.

AINT that the TRUTH!? Its a great outlet for a guy dealing with Multiple Sclerosis and the depression you get from coping with it,as well. You guys pretty much saved my life. I would like to believe I would have been strong enough to get it turned around on my own...but not sure. So...its not that big a stretch to credit all you guys  :rock

Thanks for keeping that list. Quite a few names there that I remember.

The loss of Pipz is still fresh. I still expect him to come on the loose deuce TeamSpeak with a "Shalom belly!", "happy friday!", or "pull my finger!".
Earl/ET37 is also a big one. His passing was heart breaking because we knew it was coming and was posting here his last stories, knowing they were his last.
Titbit, I don't know how many remember her - it was over a decade ago. Crazy British lady, she was fun to have around when we were in the 332nd Vikings.

Face it, we are a relatively small community of aging geezers. In such a population the loss rates are expected to be high.

The guy from Oklahoma who used to post here a lot.

Is the accountant who was a really good pilot still alive?

I know who you're talking about, and he was a great poster on the forum.  He lived about 10 miles North of me.  We talked about meeting up and having a beer, then he was gone.

The DHBG Will always miss Vega

Personally, I also miss Ghosth and Ozark, who helped me figure things out in my first few weeks, also DadRabit (spelling), who was a great stick, and a nice guy.

I know no one cares but I am still alive and well. I have been paying my monthly fees but can't fly until my home is finished. Hurricane Harvey flooded my home and it was a while before the builder could start because of all the homes destroyed down here.

We decided to do a complete remodel so it is going to be awhile.

I shall return!   :salute

Tell the truth Shuff...it was a SAPP landing that was so epic in proportion that you not only trashed your 38 and a hanger in game but it also trashed your house. The boss lady is still angry and hasn’t returned the computer power cord to you yet.

Miss ya bud lol

Somewhere I got a photo of Mouse and Hitech from either Con 2000 or Con 2002. I'll see if I can dig that up.
