While it was long ago, Dan, it's still an every day event. Hang in there.People often forget that the principle value of AH (and Bigweek!) is the community. You make friends for life here, friends you may never meet in person, but people who make a difference in your life.- oldman
Thanks for keeping that list. Quite a few names there that I remember. The loss of Pipz is still fresh. I still expect him to come on the loose deuce TeamSpeak with a "Shalom belly!", "happy friday!", or "pull my finger!".Earl/ET37 is also a big one. His passing was heart breaking because we knew it was coming and was posting here his last stories, knowing they were his last.Titbit, I don't know how many remember her - it was over a decade ago. Crazy British lady, she was fun to have around when we were in the 332nd Vikings.Face it, we are a relatively small community of aging geezers. In such a population the loss rates are expected to be high. <S> to all our missing friends
The guy from Oklahoma who used to post here a lot.Is the accountant who was a really good pilot still alive?
I know no one cares but I am still alive and well. I have been paying my monthly fees but can't fly until my home is finished. Hurricane Harvey flooded my home and it was a while before the builder could start because of all the homes destroyed down here.We decided to do a complete remodel so it is going to be awhile.I shall return!
I miss Wizzy. He brought allot of humor to the gv battle.
Somewhere I got a photo of Mouse and Hitech from either Con 2000 or Con 2002. I'll see if I can dig that up.
