Swoop is unavailable for comment. He is attending Rangerbobs funeral in the Channel. Its not really his fault, you see, killshooter was off, and due to the confusion over the multiple 262's attacking the formation, friendly fire was the culprit.  We tried to maintain a formation that would give everyone a clear 6 shot, but shiit happens!

<S> to the Axis opponents!~  Your attack on our buff formation took out 6 of us.  In real war,  45% losses would be deemed very successful for the LW ! <S>

Ah.......er........um........ oops?

Actually, I have a vague recollection of shooting downwards at a 262, tracking it and sweeping my fire over another B17 in a flash.  Saw maybe 3 hit sprites so didnt think much of it.  :/

Another one of our B17s was credited with an assist on another.   :D  If those 262s had shot more of us down I bet we'd see a few more.

Looks like it's counting Gunners in the aircraft count. I'll fix that tonight.

Theres a nasty rumour going around that Rangerbob had some nice virgin ewes at home and Swoop stood to inherit them as Squad CO should anything happen to Rangerbob

  :D

Frenchy we didn't lose 6 aircraft.  I think we lost only one.  But as Exile mentioned there could be some gunner losses being counted, plus it seems to count discoes as losses, plus there seem to be safe landings being counted as ditches from time to time.

Hola,

Zigrat, I'm stunned...

I thought you were kidding about the 51's, but you got credit for 4 in that dogfight and JG416 only got 3?  The total call was right, just some strange puter counting going on in the database.

Just so everyone understands, Zigrat was getting gan**anged by 7 51's on 1 when JG416 arrived with 4 190D's, we had altitude on the 51's so we had our way with them.

A rather huge dogfight took place with various call's of 51's going down in pieces, I cut the tail off one that then hit the water and claimed it as a kill (for sure I thought, wrong).

Looks like Zigrat got some rounds into alot of them, enough to get credit for most of the kills.

Hell, I though he was kidding when he claimed 7 kills.

Well done Ziggy...
