DX9 updates itself to launch DX11
« on: August 01, 2018, 03:35:25 PM »
Launch DX9, download update, apply update, DX11 launches.
Can't remember - wasn't this fixed a long time ago, or was it intentional? Or just wongly displayed in the window title?

You are correct.  There is problem with the patch generator.

Found the issue.  Will be fixed for next patch.

So how do I go back to the DX9 version?  Do a complete new download?

If I do a complete new download of the DX9 version, what's the best way to retain my settings, which are apparently incorporated into the DX11 version just updated to?

Right click the desktop icon, select "properties" under the "target" drop down change the "aceshigh11.exe" to " acehigh9.exe", click apply and OK. Now the shortcut points to the DX9 version of the game.
