It's growing in popularity.  Still nothing compared to Africa and Europe where everyone has it.

I know a fair bit of Americans that have WhatsApp but they use FB messenger more. LINE is very popular in Asia, more so than WhatsApp. Also I notice alot of American tourist here still rely alot on iMessage, I can't figure out why..

Ps: these are observations from my current job at the airport.

Then the further question then is would Americans be willing to download WhatsApp* to support an AH event externally to PCs / Webpages?

*It is 'free'.

Tapatalk isn't a messenging app that's running all the time crushing your battery. It doesn't care what you're location is. It's not listening to you. It's just an app that puts all the forums you might look at (if they're supported) in one place. Big diff. It's really useful when using a phone as it puts things in a format that can be easily read.

I have been using it for years. Some of the guys I knew in school opened up a group chat. It is allot of fun. You can send videos that are much greater in size than what is allow d in apples text messages. You can call anywhere in the world as long as the other party has LTE or a good wifi. Calls are very clear and FREE.
