Any advancement is great, but not to sound like an A hole, all this time and energy spent to add something that 30-50 players are using and most likely will turn off once they have seen it a few times. This isnt something that will help new players get hooked to the game.

Again, its pretty, and cool, but pretty much useless for the game. HTC needs to spend more time on finding ways to hook players, or aid them in sticking around longer to get hooked. If they dont have the time/people to do that then maybe they should look into hiring someone who can focus on just that.

Again, great job, a great piece of coding, but like the "starscapes" a lot of time used up on something almost nobody notices anymore.

I agree with you on the bold underlined text....

I think HTC should do some thinking about what Dale asked for from the Trainers way back in 2000/2001 with regards of Dale desiring a "Training Academy"..... Badboy and I damned near had took it own between the two of us and had all the material/training syllabus completed right about the time that Badboy left then I retired shortly after that....

But you need to have the right people that are serious and dedicated to seeing it through!

HTC knows where I stand on this issue!

I'm not sure why I think this, but I believe you may have just a tiny bit more interest in charts then I do. But again, that just a guess. :)

I may not have forgotten my eraser.

Looking pretty good for sure....

I've been noticing an increase of people on the message boards over past few months

VR is big and getting bigger, I'd give them 0-100 maybe more. I just dont see a moving pilot as a good "hook" to get even the VR people to subscribe, never mind the non-VR players coming in.

Is the moving pilot the only thing new in that video?  Is all the hand control stuff there already implemented across the board?  Just curious.  I can't imagine it being better than a HOTAS but if it's well implemented it would be good for the people trying it out with only hand controls and keyboard available to them.

Normally I am the first to cheer on new improvements to the game. However it looks like this is a low priority feature. Don't get me wrong and all, it looks very cool. But I think there could have been other projects to attract new players to the game. Also VR is pretty niche and we are already in a niche market which makes the players that are interested in using this feature even smaller.

I am just wondering what could make the game better and has a greater impact on gameplay which would be noticed by more players.

- improved interface
- improved MPA (can't choose who to play against and finished tournament options)
- new late war monster plane
- one of the planes that the scenario guys are asking for
- more frequent anoucements on the main website or any other media
- Training for new player course
- A way to come into contact with new players when they first login
- I also would like to have a mech in-game that only I can use

And I am sure there are other things which would be more noticeable than this feature. I am sure it was a challenge coding it and it looks really cool. But are we really gonna use it?

Again I am not hating, I just wanna see this game to do well since it's been my favourite game for over the last 10 years.

DutchVII

Ps: I am not against VR itself. It's a great addition to the game for many players.
