Having lost a bet fair made I am now tasked to sing, in front of TTU Army ROTC offices, the West Point Fight Song

The Army team's the pride and dream
Of every heart in gray.
The Army line you'll ever find
A terror in the fray.
And when the team is fighting
For the Black and Gray and Gold,
We're always near with song and cheer
And this is the tale we're told:
The Army team

Rah! Rah! Rah! Boom!

(Whistle Chorus)*

On, brave old Army team!
On to the fray.
Fight on to victory
For that's the fearless Army way.

*being lousy at whistling ... well, singing for that matter, I shall supplement the whistling with a kazoo.

I watched the game and was impressed with both teams defense. I was totally underwhelmed by the Army coach's lack of imagination. There ARE other plays besides straight up the middle. I do understand their intention to eat up the clock, but if the opening 4 plays had not gone as they did, Navy would have handed them their fannies in the second half. Changing quarterbacks was long overdue past the first quarter.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
