I am placing an open challenge for all Aces High players to come participate on January 26th, 2019 this upcoming Saturday for Target for Today Leyte, 1944. What makes this event very unique is that the Allied CO and the Axis CO are from the same Main Arena and FSO squad. The Arabian Knights.
AKWarhawk is the Allied CO.
AKKuya is the Axis CO.
We have squad mates on both sides. The fighter guys are flying Allied with the F6F Hellcats and the bomber guys are flying Axis with the Ki-67s. Both groups will be looking for each other. Both groups might encounter each other. There will be blood spilled from each other. (All in good fun) When we read the logs after FSO or Scenario, we laugh at friendly kills. I look forward to the laughter and good ribbing from the logs of this event. I plan on shooting down the Allied CO many times.
Even if you are curious to this wild setup. Show up at just before the top of each hour and pick a side. The Side CMs will get you to a group. Pilots who fly bombers, we have both B-24 and Ki-67 spots available. We need you also. There are plenty of fighter slots also.
FSO and Main Arena squads can jump in also on event day for the same side or on opposing sides. In SEA 2, all players are to be in uniform corresponding to that side's unit. Squad text will not work for Main Arena and FSO squads split on both sides.
For FSO pilots, the map has clustered opposing bases. There is no 50 minutes of flying to a target for 5 minutes of action and be done. We have the capability of much quicker action and a new plane at the top of each hour.
This will be an AK vs AK showdown. Plan on being there to witness an epic event. For those reading this, neither AK side has knowledge of the other. We have kept this from each other from the beginning.
I would like to see over 100 players show up for each side. One week to go.
