There's a reason why I've never really liked "furball islands" in the MA, even though air combat is my thing. I believe that bases should be close enough in the MA that fights naturally start themselves. A path to action thru vehicle bases is a lot of fun for all types of play... Furball islands do not provide any strategy to the MA. A furballer who is fighting not in a furball island is actually helping the base take and strategy effort. Most players come for the air combat. Most people have left because of long flights for air combat. Maps that do not spur action because of far bases, unorganized base paths that spread players out all over the place, create slow boring gameplay. Maps should have a way for all sides to fight each other at the same time but it should not be thru furball islands. I've studied this for years playing AH.
Do you guys not realize how far the back bases in Buzzsaw are? Do you realize that 90% of the people only fly in the middle and it's middle doesn't even make sense or have a path. Do you see any other map being hated as much? Literally showing it in the #s when it's up. You gotta reason with us here, Hitech.
