<S> Fellow Map makers,I have done it created my first Terrain with a Clip board map that actualy works
I called it Skull Island and it features 2 sides you can either have;
* Dogfights between 4 airfields all with 4.5k+ starts
* PTboat battle in one of the eye socket laggoons
* GV wars on the lower jaw or get in a Shore Batterry and Bombard the enemy VH or any visable GV's
* Bomber sorties to Flak ally and practise your bombing skills on all the Stat targets City, HQ and port.
* Sail a CV around the Skull and do some damage.

Download Skull Island here

Special Thanx to Pokie, Skyviper and Nuttz for your sage advice  :)

Here Is a preview of the clipboard map

Von Beer...i used your map...taking the bish port resets the war! Is there a way to fix it so bases can be captured without resetting the map...its a cool bellybutton map except for that!

The reason the map is reseting is because you only have 2 countries.
The game is setup for 3.
You'll need to place 2 Fields of the missing country, which in your case is the Rooks.  These can be any Fields as long as they have a Maproom.

Soon as a Field is capture the game sees no Fields for the Rooks country and resets.

If you don't want the Rooks in the war just place them far away from the action.

Also on your clipboard some of your Field assignments are labeled incorrectly.
V3 is really V5
V4 is really V6
A5 is really A3
A6 is really A4

Good Job though ( 2 thumbs up ).
I would have answered soon but just got in from work.

P.S.  Just remember when you make the corrections and build the map again don't use the same name for the .res file, that way you won't have 2 different versions sharing the same name.  This would cause problems with people join H2H with the different versions.

Make it Skully-a.res or something like that.  Allow yourself room for updated versions.

BenDover I tried the new: MODELS.RES and STDSHAPE.RES files from AcesHigh folder?
The editor wouldn't work.

If memory serves me right we had to wait until editor was update when major changes were done. Like when CV's were introduced.
