Blowing it?He made a game that has been running for 20 years. Not only that, he made it with a crew that has fewer people than the number of janitors in large studios.
I think he is talking about all the posts other people are making saying this. OP is giving HTC kudos.
I have to say that I am completely impressed that you have the intestinal fortitude to keep this game and BBS up and going even though you are told multiple times a day how much and how hard you are blowing it. I would have kicked the plug out of the wall long ago! I would have to imagine that such a skill set would be better used somewhere else besides a video game <S>Dougie
If the game is going so great, how come the two late war arenas were about full all the time and now about 150 players is about normal, plus the early and mid war arenas are gone. I would like to know.
And that is the answer Hitech and many of us or trying to answer. There are many individuals who believe it is because Hitech won't make the changes that they demand. Most of those changes would change Aces High into something very different, which would be bad. Some people want an arcade game, while Aces High is built on a real flight simulator. Some people just can't deal with the learning curve. The goal then is to help people get up that learning curve so they can learn and appreciate what we have here.
