I can't get Windows 10 to sleep if I have a joystick (CH) plugged in. I don't want to be plugging and unplugging my joystick and pedals all the time -- I'll just manually sleep the damned thing if I can't find another solution.
It will sleep if I have it unplugged.
I have already tried several things, such as disabling wake timers (or whatever it is specifically called) for USB, and as an outside chance installing the latest nVidia graphics-card drivers, resetting the power plan to a default (balanced), examining the output of the "powercfg" command, running the power troubleshooter that is part of Windows.
Under Windows 7, the computer would sleep no problem.
I haven't found any chipset drivers later than the ones I have. I might keep looking
