Now that you guys have decided the world will end, read this link below. Did any of you know that both the CDC and now China is lieing about people dieing from the FLU? They both lump Flu and pneumonia together and report a "all" deaths as death by Flu. China has always had a major problem with pneumonia to the tune of 300,000 deaths a year. In the US it's about 60,000 deaths to pneumonia in a bad year but, the CDC reports it as flu deaths to which it's usually less than 500.

Then the current head of the CDC is Rod J. Rosenstein's sister who released a doom and gloom report while Trump was in India without permission which has helped tank the Stock Market. And a state department official stationed in Japan allowed Americans to return to the US against direct orders world wide to hold them until further notice. You may have noticed in Trump's election year how Chinese factories have been shut down and are impacting his economy and the world economy along with the protests in Hong Kong no longer existing. The majority of deaths from Flu viruses are becasue the people contract pneumonia from either the virus reducing their immune system or an already weakened immune system due to age or lifestyle.

As for the Spanish Flu.....

a 2007 analysis of medical journals from the period of the pandemic found that the viral infection was no more aggressive than previous influenza strains. Instead, malnourishment, overcrowded medical camps and hospitals, and poor hygiene promoted bacterial superinfection. This superinfection killed most of the victims, typically after a somewhat prolonged death bed.

Common flu has a mortality rate of about 0.1%.

COVID-19 is hitting mortality rates of 2% across China to 4.9% in Wuhan.  Several orders of magnitude higher than the common flue that already kills 20k a year in USA.  The Chinese are probably lying too, so it might be materially worse than that. 

Also COVID-19 has the nasty trait of being transmittable before the vector even experiences symptoms.  Checking all those peoples temp before letting them on planes?  Might be doing no good at all.  They had already checked everyone on that one liner and cleared them.  All of the sudden they started coming down with it. 

There is currently no specific treatment or vaccine for COVID-19 like there is for the common flu.

The Chinese are desperate to get their factories back open.  They are going to risk it.  I saw one report that 50% of companies don't have sufficient masks for their workers.  (Those won't help much anyway.  If you are around infected long enough, you will get it.  They seal you up in a city or a liner with infected long enough, no paper mask is going to save you.  Distance is the only prophylactic.)

What happens when millions of workers are back in the factories in a week or so, with no masks, rubbing shoulder to shoulder?


There are reports that the virus can live on surfaces for up to 9 days.  Maybe longer on some surfaces.  Who trusts products being shipped out of China to distribute to your population?

How many trillions of dollars of just-in-time supply-chain capacity is choke-pointed in China?  What effects on the world economies could that have over the next year?  For economies at the extreme end phase of a 11 year growth cycle, just looking for an excuse for a bear market?


There will be a lull come around April as these virus decline once warm weather comes around.  Every one will pat themselves on the back and say back to work!  It will lay mostly dormant and continue mutating and then come back again next fall with a vengeance.

Containment is over.  If we try REALLY hard, we can slow it down a bit, but maybe not.  This thing will probably end when it has fully spread and burned it self out, killing all who were susceptible to it (that could be 100k in the US), or we get a vaccine before it's run it's course.  But initial vaccine trials aren't even going to start for another month.

If this time next year COVID-19 or what it mutates to is not a serious threat, then I will gladly eat crow.  This is one of those times I have absolutely no desire to be right.

Rumors that there is something about 5G and its 60hz that may be part of this. I'm not entirely sure how yet but Wuhan rolled it out. They want to make it a smart city. I think the UN and China are in Cahoots.

Dems love it because its hurting the market and they are attempting to hurt Trump at all cost.

We had the Military Games in Wuhan with 1300 UN officials a few months before. We had a meeting called 201 that happened the same day as the military games with Bill Gates that was literally about a Corona Virus outbreak.

They knew it was coming. They have planned this.

Tell that to the Dems and the CDC leader (Rosenstein's sister - scares me more than Corona) and the media spreading constant fear every day that everyone is going to die.

Good point.  Mortality rates across China are being reported at 2%.  Those areas have not been saturated and sick people can still get access to medical care.
In Wuhan reports are around 4.9%.  That may be because systems have been saturated and there is not enough care to go around leading to higher death rates.

I wouldn't be surprised if both numbers are 3 times higher than reported.

I saw somewhere there are teams now in Wuhan checking the locked apartments for the dead.  People have locked themselves up in their apartments for weeks. They probably don't know yet how many are moldering behind closed doors.  I wonder if they are using cadaver dogs.

That's a bad thing.  These people had not traveled to China nor have been in direct contact with someone who has.  If you can't trace back to an identifiable point of origin, then you have no idea how its spreading so you can take no steps to stop it.  However it happened is probably still happening, infecting more. 

Containment is over.  That cat is out of the bag.  There is no locus to quarantine any more.  The enemy is within the wire.  The only thing the protocols do now is hopefully slow the spread enough to run out the clock until a vaccine can be developed, tested, approved, manufactured, distributed, and administered.  That could be 18-24 months from now.  We are only at the very, very beginning. 

There will be a slow down once hot weather arrives, but don't let them tell you it's over until they inject you with a vaccine that's been proven effective.
