Based on a book and the book is based on real events.  Don't worry.  Wilson will show up and save the day!!!!!
Chuck Norris can pick oranges from an apple tree and make the best lemonade in the world. Every morning when you wake up, swallow a live toad. Nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day. They say money can't buy happiness. I would like the opportunity to find out. Why be serious?

Looks great. will definitely see in theaters and then boot up Silent Hunter 3.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Trailer reminds me of one of my favorite obscure war flicks, The Cruel Sea with Jack Hawkins. No CGI in that one tho!

Right... because the obvious models, archival footage, and silk sheet behind the flying bridge set are so much better than CGI...

And ya gotta love Jack Hawkins' voice.

I had that printed and framed hanging in my cube at my last company.

The emblems used on the subs do not look accurate......I know, I know, we don’t need movie critics on historical military accuracy.  Sorry.

When I first saw the trailer, that was the first error I saw.   Going to the sources on German U-boats, none had any of the emblems in the movie.

I take it that the one sub with the red eye wolf emblem is the leader among the wolf pack in the movie.  So my guess is the director wanted that sub to be the main evil villain having a bigger than what historical size emblem should be.  Idk.  Meh

First thing I noticed too. Uboats depend on stealth to not be spotted, so let's paint a giant red wolf on it.
