Not sure what to think. Wife tested negative for covid and negative for antibodies a week after daughter tested positive. Still nobody has gotten sick in our house. And we're all in each other's faces all day. Maybe false positive, maybe covid isn't so contagious after all. Or maybe we're just awesome.
It may be that you're geographically lucky. There are two mutations of the virus. The east coast strain originated in Europe after coming from Asia, and is much better at causing extreme sickness due to a mutation in the capsid protein that allows it to penetrate human cells better. It will infect and sicken anyone.
The west coast strain is the original virus that originated in Asia, and is much less virulent, and typically only presents in weakened immune systems and old people.
If you are living west of Alabama or so, you likely have the less virulent strain, and would not likely become symptomatic, so long as you aren't in a high risk population.
Our story really is a tale of two viruses in the U.S., something that doesn't get enough attention.
