I tell them parts to get. They order parts. I assemble.
I dont stay on top of what parts are hot for the price comparisons which is why I am asking for suggestions. the PC I built myself a year ago I can probably do better now as fast as tech and prices change.

Not necessarily. Let's say they're seriously back in the business and can give a good bang for the buck. Which is better depends on the task, in this case mostly the games. The older ones especially may work better on an Intel CPU.

IBuyPower and Cyberpower PC are owned by the same guy.
Every computer that I've purchased since 2001 has come from Cyberpower and I've had no issues or complaints.  It's a little more expensive than doing it from scratch but you get to see exactly what you're paying for and you get to make any changes you want.  Before they ship it out they test it for a couple of days to make sure it all works right.

I got real close, I think the 5700 is stronger card than the 1660.  I didn’t include the cost of a new Windows 10 license, but if you can find an old win 7 disk you can activate a fresh Win 10 install using its code.  With a Ryzen processor, you don’t need to spend extra $$ for a cooler - the stock cooler it ships with is adequate.  she's going to need every bit of GPU power she can get to run Cyberpunk, if I understand correctly.

be careful when ordering a custom made pc from any site.  mobo's sometimes will have to be upgraded due to limits as to ram and or what you plan to use in the future.

I will be doing the assembly myself.
Both those systems are looking pretty decent.
In finding out what she is wanting to play Im going to concentrate something that runs  cyberpunk2077 at the highest possible settigns for the price point since that seems to be the most system intensive from what I've been reading. My thinking is. anythign that cn run that well. Should have little ot no problem running anything else.
Im thinking 1K for the parts. OS will be separate. Monitor, keyboard and mouse We already have or she can get on her own separately if she decides down the line to get new

Since a Windows license isn't needed, here's another option with about 20% stronger graphics with the cost of a little weaker processor. My guess is that the latter should still be powerful enough for most any games.
