Oh Boy!!  Since Toads Dad B25 strafer is now modeled in game when my old friend toad gets back in game this has again opened up my history Junkie self on Thunderbolts of the PAC.  Chiefly 7th AF FGs.  Taken into consideration are the 348th FG,the 58th F/Bomber group and the 318th which had the N Model.  I'll have to look back but I believe this was in the 1944 era.  Along with the 80th the P47 groups active at that time would make a great get together in game with the B25 Units.  As some of you know I have scads of info on these groups as well as P47 groups in the ETO. I do know the 348th converted to P51s at some point.

Scenario........word of mouth.  Let it be known that a mission is going to be assembled.  Aircraft would be the B25, Jugs and 38s'.  We do have a lot of bomber Pilots in game that would be glad to fly them in a sort of made up mission, maybe even in the MA.  Hell I'd fly the B25 also.  The time in history would have to be determined hopefull in the P47N model era..but hell any Jug does it for me.

I prefer the in game D11 model so maybe even Kearbys Thunderbolt group could be used......knowing full well that Kearby was lost early in the conflict. 7th AF was still there with Thunderbolts.

Hmmmmmmm.  This has got me thinking and excited about the possibilities.

Sorry for the hijack on this beautiful skin but anything which could improve game play, which by the way this skin has done, there are many ideas to develop using Toads' Fathers skin in game.

Again Thanks Greebo!  Your skin just developed some excitement and ideas for use in the game.  Well done!!

Dan..any ideas?  We have the Beaufighter nailed down for use I don't see why we can't do  the same for this.  I believe at the time Quiche was flying the, JugNs' were sweeping southern Japan.  Along with P51s and 38s this could be something great.  We had a sort of scenario some time ago similar to this but unfortunately not many participants and quite frankly it was designed that the USAF and USN had only one direction to attack from and made it easy to intercept.  Unfortunately the map was to small because of the limited population playing.

Just a thought.

This is great. Nice personal connection, too.
