Christmas card from VP-1

This is the Christmas card from VP-1, which was the photographic squadron at Pearl Harbor. Most of the aerial photos you see of Pearl before and after the attack came from VP-1. The airplane is a J2F Duck. And yes, the picture is photoshopped the hard way--long before Photoshop. Amazing work. National Archives 80-G-40060.

Very cool, I was a Sonar Technician on a Destroyer.  We used to talk to the P-3s on sub patrol as we would transit the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
