You physically have access to the forum controls to mute every one of us on a whim if we say something you don't like or don't politically agree with.
We do not have that same power over you.
That is a fundamental power differential that makes it unethical for you to jump into heated discussions with your own opinion when you can say what you want, and everyone else has to tip toe around a forum ban.
The very fact that I kid you about posting a video link to a 4 hour Trump political rally, and your first reaction is to threaten me, is a perfect example of the likelihood of authority being abused in a heated discussion.

Oh, and we both know if Arlo had posted a link to a 4 hour Biden political rally and said he was only doing it because he was really interested in the suit Biden was wearing, you would have rolled you eyes and closed the thread in a heartbeat. We both know that to be true.
So instead of making threats or excuses, just admit, "yeah, that was a bonehead mistake. I should have just found a picture of it."
Or you can threaten to mute anyone pointing out the obvious.
