a lot of people quit because radar was out constantly.  that was bad play.  I remember many threads boasting about killing hq and making people quit.  or killing it right before loggin off.

myself would log in and see radar out and logoff.  you couldnt find a fight.  I remember once I found the 49th driving in m3's in the middle of nowhere to go kill dar.  and they were in my country.  I reported location even stayed above for as long as I could so enemy could find them.  there were no shades hunting you down.  they were regular players giving away your position as they didnt agree with you guys killing the game.

we asked you guys, then we begged you guys to stop.  but you thought it was funny. so we started given away your position.  thank hitech understood finally so gv dar came out of it and hq is now down no longer than 5 minutes.

Actually, that had nothing to do with gv dar. All the HQ issues happened back in AH2, gv dar came about in AH3. Just a minor clarification.  :D

Im not a fan of GV dar, but I find that it has a use... I would have preferred the engine sound be heard over a larger area... which could be countered by a friendly aircraft making its own noise...I also want thin skins to be immune so that sneaking bases is viable again.
But, I have gotten used to GV dar and sneak bases with more rapid timing.

My squad would drive for miles and attack internal bases and strats all the time... was not easy, sometimes we had only a few hundreds yards to drive to prevent base flash.

That would be neat if you had factories for each plane or group of planes and once destroyed they could not be flown until the factory restored

Or a set of them that if were offline simultaneously you would lose all late war planes for example

Good time to start making suggestions. If he can code it with out too much expense and resources we can see some changes on how to win a map. Maybe a pilot map with
some drastic changes.

The Buzz Saw map put strats all over the map with easy access for everyone (gv'er, bomber, heavy fighter, ect) , but many do not like that map. I like it because there is always lots of GV action, but it may be difficult for the fighters to find action and that is why they do not like it. There are others that do not like it for other reasons. GV'ers like lots of spawns
and it has plenty.

Some of the older maps do not have enough GV spawns. It would be nice if some of the older maps could be updated with more GV spawns so the fight
can go in both directions and not just in one direction, or be cut off from opposing countries altogether. Sometimes opposing countries do not have any GV spawns so
only the other two countries can engage the enemy with GV's.

Some of the maps in AH2 had strats that moved forward or backward when certain areas were conquered by the same or opposing country. Putting the HQ at an extreme location for opposing countries might be an option agreeable to everyone. Jets and Rocket planes being available at HQ could make a difference. Super Flak 88's that can be manned  is another option. If it takes a large mission to take down a strat that could be a lot of fun for both countries.

If you have some suggestions, ideas, constructive criticism, ect.  ........please contribute.
Let everyone know what you do in AH. Figher, GV'er, Bomber, PT Boater  :D

Kenai did an update on NDisles map. He added spawns, and BB groups for each team.

https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,402473.0.html

It was submitted but not added yet as well as a couple other new maps that were submitted. :headscratch:
