Occulus Quest 2 pass though view wiped out controller settings

I was checking my controller mappings in VR recently, and while the key assignments screen was being displayed, I used the double-tap pass through view of the Quest to see if I could read button labels on my controllers, but when I double-tapped back into the game, all my controller settings for both the throttle and joystick were wiped out.   My pedals settings were unaffected.

I was able to restore from a copy of the .jsm files I had, but still its something to be aware of...

No kidding. This has happened to me a couple of times and I've wondered what was doing it. I'd usually find out as I hit the runway at the start of FSO. Talk about annoying! Mine is a RiftS. Will have to test it out. I don't use the pass thru feature much as it's too blurry to see much other than things around you. Reading? Fahgetaboutit!
