The prices came down from €2.6 to €2.2 per litre since the Government lowered the requirement to mix sustainable fuel to fossil fuel.

Down about 10 cents here from the peak in southern Idaho, now $5.20 to $5.25. I do not believe the current exploding Inflation has peaked.

It went down about 20 cents for gas and about 30 cents for diesel here. I don't expect it to stay there for long though. I expect it to go up once everyone realizes the saudi's are already pumping at about 100% before biden went begging.

I guess it's down a little at the ARCO near me. It's 5.50 right now I think.  I'll check later. In Los Angeles it varies by a lot depending on the area. They get you in some places. Like 6.95 a gallon.

I don't pay a lot of attention to the price though because I need the gas. I fill up and try not to dwell on the price. 90 percent or more the the gas I use is for work, so I get reimbursed for that anyway. My employer added a higher reimbursement when prices started to go up without us even asking.
So it doesn't hurt me as much as it does some people.

Why do you call it Gas?

Natural gas , LPG or methane

Petrol is a fluid

Then again you call Budweiser beer.

And that yellow stuff you call mustard

Until it costs £20 a gallon I don’t care

it isn't petrol either.  and by the way as a liquid it doesn't burn.  it burns as a gas.

It burns when vaporized with adequate oxidizer.

Burns as a gas?

 :rofl

It’s droplets of petrol either put into cylinder through a jet or injected.

Those droplets are vapor. The vapor mixed with air is explosive when ignited. That's why safe storage is critical. It's not the petrol, it's the vapor.

gasoline is a liquid but it won't burn. it needs to turn into gas it what you call fumes, fumes mixed with oxygen and an ignition source will burn.

you can test it put 30 gallons in a drum grab a chair and sit next to it.  if there's no fumes it won't ignite, if there's fumes start screaming and roll on the floor. hard that helps.
