Time waits for no one. She is definitely getting along in years and like the rest of the WW 2 generation about to shuffle off this mortal coil. She has been a heck of a symbol for her nation and a bulwark for their foes to flail against. There likely will not be another like her. I wish her well on her transition and hope her reunion with past friends and family is joyous.

She's pretty amazing. She still looked great wellinto her 80s too

She's a livng part of history. Hope that there are not many people on this Earth that could have pulled off being a queen for as long as she has. I mean you can't be rattled and you have to be such and such a way all the time without error.

And she's still going.

She was also a breeder of fine Labrador Retrievers. Definitely a top shelf accolade there.

Not just the brits but the entire commonwealth.
