Hey guys, just adding the rest of the ONC maps to this thread.  There are a total of 9 MA terrains that I've done in Operational Navigation Chart style.  Click on each image for the full 2088 x 2500px version.   I'm working on print-ready versions where the colors are less intense and will use less ink when printed.

Baltic

CraterMA

ETOMA

FJORDMA

MONTIS

I just printed Montis on large format, Arch D (36"x24")(landscape). High resolution 1200 dpi on my HP Designjet T1100PS. It looks great. Suitable for framing.

Oboe, and the likes, are gems fo AH. Should be respected and not disrespected by used car salesmen.

Back in band camp, all these things were things I did.
I can’t top any if these guys. So I just stand back, and smile.

Respect your true brothers in crime. They have 100% of mine. <S>

:salute.  It is a strange compulsion to make these maps so I'm glad somebody else likes them and/or finds them useful for something.   Shuffler, that is a nice printer you have access to!

I just saw I forgot to add the light-colored shallows around the coast of Mindanao.   And I think I'll go back and add the CV fleets and Aces High logo to the maps that don't have them.

Things like this are a harmless hobby. Same as making videos. Something to do.

This I think is the final version of the ETO MA Terrain map.   I've added the CV and BB groups with ties to their home ports, and real place names where I could to the bases.   I've increased the brightness of the sea areas and the land so it comes out looking better on my ink jet printer.   This is the version I'd like to take to Fedex/Kinkos and have them print on matte poster paper, just to see how it turns out.

You made it happen, Kenai.  Thank you for creating this terrain!

I'd like to try planning out a bomber mission with it sometime using real headings, speeds and timings and just see how close I get to the target.   I've chopped up this image into four 8.5x11" pages; trimmed and taped them together to create a 14" x 17" version.   It has a nice full-size map feel to it; the labels are easily readable at that size.

I wonder what it would take for Office Depot to print one out that size?
