Yolks

Does anybody use a flight yolk for their daily AH driver? Maybe a bomber pilot or two? Ever use it also in fighters?

I could see using on for a 38 since they actually had a yolk. I have even thought about doing so.....

They seem to be a neater installation just sitting on the desk. Reconsidering my longstick project which needs a modified chair etc.

Was just wondering if you can still snap-roll and other manoeuvres which require quick inputs. They're quite popular for civilian simmers but they don't need snappy manoeuvres.

The control is the control. It may even improve your flying. I'm saying that as some are far too quick on the stick. This can kill your E. While it may take a bit more movement on your part, that may not be such a bad thing. Add in that it can be used in other places like MSFS. I like the idea. May be doing this soon.

You fly with a yolk you'll end up with egg on your face.
Might want to try a yoke, no joke.

Some of these yolks have quite a bit of movement compared to a tabletop joystick:-

That was great. Akak and Karnak said everything I was wondering about. Thanks  :salute

Is the throttle on it?

Otherwise with two hands steering how do you control the gas?

Think it is a better fit in ms flight sim where you just cruise around and look at the pretty graphics

The same way 38 drivers used them in real life.
