Best of luck at the cardiologist..I got lucky as the one on call when I needed 2 stents installed on a Sunday in early 2018 turned out to be a fantastic doctor.

I have seen him every 6 months since then

If they have available beds, the hospital is motivated to keep people in the beds…….Profit!

I had a double hernia and they repaired each side six months after the other.   
That made it easier than both sides at the same time.   

I woke up in recovery and immediately requested a cup of ice.   
Puking on a brand new hernia repair sounds horrible and I quickly learned how to not sneeze or cough for a couple of weeks.
