How would I be able to tell if the parts are interchangeable or I could upgrade in the future (before purchasing)

I am clearly a PC newb, which is why I'm hesitant to build my own lol

I wouldn't suspect you would need to upgrade anything in that for 5+ years. The only thing to add might be more RAM, which assuming the 32GB you have in the cart is 2 16GB sticks won't be a problem as you could pick up 2 more sticks at any time down the road assuming you can find the same model. Or worst case buy 64gb and just sell the 32gb you have.

Realistically the only things you'd swap out is a better/more modern CPU down the road which would require a different Motherboard anyway, or a better/more modern GPU which are very interchangeable as well.

That's kind of what I assumed and what I was looking for.  I wanted a PC I didn't have to touch for a while.  My current build is 6 years old, and it was shoddily put together.  I guess that's what I get for buying secondhand.

Skytech uses standard parts so no issue upgrading whatever.

I need to upgrade too. This rig, that TC gave me in the KOTH era, is showing its age to put it mildly.  Still running Win 7.
