We have a new song coming out. You can pre-save the song with the link.

it's pretty much a classic rock song.

A driver doesn't know he died in a crash and he's stuck in a loop, forever crashing while Jumpin Jack Flash forever plays on the radio.

May 16, 2025 — Nashville, TN — Indie rock outfit The Jetglows are back with their gripping new single Drive Drive Drive, arriving June 6, 2025. The track is a fiery, fuzz-laced ride into the afterlife—following a ghost who doesn’t realize he died in a car crash and is doomed to relive it, over and over, driving endlessly down a canyon road. The same twists, the same crash, and Jumpin’ Jack Flash always playing on the radio.

Powered by roaring guitars and pounding drums, Drive Drive Drive fuses raw energy with eerie storytelling. It’s a hypnotic collision of sound and spirit—equal parts road anthem and ghost story.

Thank you! I'm not sure we really have a goal of anything other than enjoying this together. As long as everybody enjoys what we're doing we'll keep doing it.

This new song is pretty much a classic rock song. It's one of my songs, and I don't really care for classic rock that much. Lol. The way our band works is we post our songs as demos individually on a forum and then if somebody else likes it they usually jump on it and start adding to it. That's what happened with this one. I had the complete song but it was all on acoustic guitar. Our lead guitar player, Todd, added all of his guitars and got rid of my acoustic guitar. Then Travis did the drums.

I posted the song on Christmas Day and 5 days later Todd put his guitars on it. So then at that point it was a go. Travis is a very busy studio drummer in Nashville. One of the best drummers in the world. Very much in demand. Anyway it took him until April before he put the drums on it. So now it's coming out.... And Spotify already has it but we have a release date of June 6th

When it's actually out I'll post it over here so you guys can hear the whole thing.  but if you'd like to hear it early, it's going to be played exclusively this Friday at around noon Eastern time on The Zone internet radio station.

About us:

The Jetglows are a Nashville-based indie rock band formed in late 2023 by four longtime friends: Timothy Ferguson (bass/vocals), Gina Partin (guitar/vocals), Todd Underwood (guitar/vocals), and Travis McNabb (drums). Their journey began in the early 1990s in Phoenix, Arizona, where they initially collaborated on music projects. After pursuing individual careers—McNabb notably played with Better Than Ezra and became a sought-after session drummer—the group reunited decades later to create new music together .

Notable releases include:

"Daisy": A Britpop-inspired anthem released on March 28, 2025, characterized by its catchy hooks and summertime feel .

"Ocean": A grunge-influenced track with a "Soundgarden meets King's X" vibe, released on May 17, 2024 .

"I'm Fine": An upbeat love song about enjoying time with a partner, released on July 5, 2024 .

I see a difference in artist going up the ladder and coming down. The ones who survive coming down are now doing it for fun, and it shows, its a better show.

For sure there is no pressure in anything that we do. Sure, it would be nice for people to listen to our music. I mean, everybody wants their creative efforts to be appreciated.

I don't think any of us have any high expectations that we're going to take off or anything like that.

I think that is a killer attitude. Some just try too hard and blow it. You usually achieve something when you're not going overboard to do it. <S>

Thanks, Animl!

I really do appreciate this time that I get to do this with my friends. It's nowhere close to a fulltime effort- we just do our parts when each of us has the time. Everyone is usually pretty busy, but we still manage to get them done pretty consistently. I sure wish I had more energy though, lol.

Right now I just go up from a nap. It's 9.35pm. I made coffee and I'm going to see if I can finish the lyrics, and possibly the vocals for our next song-- called Mia. Everybody already has all of their parts in and it's just waiting for me to finish the vocals.

I'm trying not to be the one holding it up. lol. We're trying to get one song out per month. Drive Drive Drive is releasing on the 6th, and Mia will follow it.
Drive has been in pre-release for about a week. There's a delay of up to 6 weeks before a song submitted for release is actually released - and we messed up our previous song by not allowing enough time.

So even though it's over two weeks before Drive is out, we need to get Mia sent in pretty soon in order to follow it in within a month.

All of this gives us a purpose and is something to keep us on track and to keep going. It's not like tons of people will ever hear them. It's just a lot of fun and rewarding to be able to be doing this together. That's my main joy in it.

Totally get it.

Usually a band’s 1st-2nd album are their best. Because they put a lot of time into the songs. The contracts and tours didn’t bite them, yet. Trust me, its coming, careful what ya wish for.

I think Rolling Stones are over-rated as a band.
They signed a 25 album contract. Uber mistake.
They may actually have 3-4 notable albums. But seriously, 70% is crap, because of a contract based rush to get them put out. Even at 30% being good that many albums its still a lot of hits. I always viewed Jagger as a clown who imitates himself.

Don’t even get me started on U2.

David Gilmour doesn’t need any money, he has no over-baring contracts. He’s just doing new stuff because he just loves doing it. He takes the proper time to nail it. No hurry. It shows in the depth of his music. He can suck you in with 3 notes.

Probably my favorite bands I worked are the ones who mentally survive coming down the ladder and reality weeded out the weak. Those who were all about the fame and parties, usually crash and burn.

I worked with Lenann Rymes when she got her first hit at 15 yrs old. The biz hadn’t chewed her up, yet. As nice and cute as a speckled puppy, nice as can be, clinged to me a bit too much for a guy in late 30-40s, but very easy to work with.

Got put on her show when she just dropped out of first 5 in billboard, she was now 21. OMFG!! what did they do to you. She had been chewed up, a 180 personality shift, she was bitter, angry, and just repulsive to be around. She knew me and confided how this was the last thing she wanted to do, “I don’t even want to be here..”.  Finally I tired of her ranting on others I got her attention and said, “Look, I get it, but we’re either going to do a show, or we’re just going to get through one”.

Evidently she had a few drinks and we just got through it. Never saw her again. She flat out dropped out, and probably burned bridges doin it. Rotten shame, she had such a serious good future. The biz took its toll.

POINT BEING those who came down the #1 ladder with sanity intact were easy to work with, well grounded, and it showed in their playing. We usually had meals together. They just loved being there. Good smooth solid shows.

When you love what you do it’s not work. Some shows were so fun I’d done it for free. Ha! Never said out loud.

Hey, Imaking vids because its a fun lil time killin hobby. Something new.

Ya always find a GF when you’re not looking for one.
