How could I check what graphics I'm suing? TY!
On the opening screen (Main Menu), go to "Video Settings".
To increase/decrease detail go to "Graphic Detail".
As mentioned, if you have good FPS, like say 50fps. You may want to consider on not heavy handling the stick.
I will note, Dead Bands and sometimes Damping can affect your aiming if your aim is near center stick. There is a undesirable transition that takes place that can be erratic in aiming. If you're aiming in a turn you will not have that. So if you decide to use them, use them as little as possible. These can be avoided by not heavy handling your stick. They are aids. It takes practice, but once the muscle memory stores you'll be fine. If you watch a real pilot fly AH, their hand movement is very subtle and smooth.
I have a new-ish VKB stick, I use zero dead bands or damping, and there is no transition, it's smooth from one side to the other. The only thing I do is scale down rudder to about 40% of slider travel. Scaling can have the same effect, it's constantly making a transition. SO it's best they are straight across and even. If you do use scaling and have a slope, it needs a smooth travel to the highest, so nothing radical. Damping can cause you to over-steer as it catches up with movements
You can use these things as aids, but if you do, your muscle memory will be that. You'll have to rebuild it if radical changes are made.
