So i'm flying around last night in A5 with all 4 cannon.. just feeling silly, trying different planes...

I make a pass on a tiffy, climb out and see a hog crawling up my 6 about 2 miles away. I'm clear he doesn't have a stash to follow me up, but i don't want to risk it, so i reverse gently and pass under his nose in head on position. He's quite predictable, he turns hard low yo yo and blows any energy he might have had... there i am 3000 ft up above on top of my half loop... and as usual, he points the nose up hoping that F4U will crawl up to meet me. I wait few seconds dive in... he's pointing at me but not shooting.. at 600 i open fire and at 300 he blows up... He kinda stood there in the air at 0 mph

Like i said.. predictable.. then it gets funnier...

I get a private message from my victim saying
"nice head on dweeb"
Well well well.. sore loser are we ? So i answer him that "it takes two to tango" to which he replies with the nonchalant "I'm above that" air about him that "people without ethics bother me"

Well Oh Mighty One, excuse moui !!!

This guy losses the fight - in a pathetic style i might add - then insults me and then accuses me of having no ethics !!! Does it get any funnies then this ?

Btw - guy is a member of a "respectable" squadon with "previous sim" experiance - therefore i don't think he's a newbie ( although his flying suggests otherwise )

Well, you know who you are !!! Thank you for a great laugh !!

Had almost the exact same thing happen to me fd-ski. It was the first thing even near a headon I'd been in for some time... the other participant gets on private comms and calls me a dweeb saying he's sick of flying all the way to a fight only to die in a headon.

I told him it was the first one I've been in for some time, but he insisted that it was people like me that were ruining the game for him.

I called him a bad word (before language filter).

by definition....both planes have to be flying at each other for it to be a head-on. I haven't figured out why people complain about it. For it to happen...both pilots have to go head to head.

Not necessarily. If the other plane is a laggy spit, you might be in an HO and not even know it.

Hehe, I have had several(not headons) pilots throw up the "you have no skill" rants when they die. Cant wait until pyro puts up the Film Folder, so I can
start my "clown of the week" section.

Heh heh, another one of them dreaded "single plane HO's"?

It always amazes me when someone complains about dieing in an HO. If it was truly an HO, then both planes had to participate.

Of course, there are those who think the other guy should for some odd reason point their tail at them to shoot at, without attempting to turn and get a gun solution themselves.

One thing I find common on these accusations is the person making them is normally a sore loser, and not normally a very good flyer.

Just my thoughts anyway
