Now now little fella...calm down:)

I just popped in here to see what you had to say and noticed, that at least to me, all of your poll choices focused on negative aspects of a great sim. None of your choices do I even give thought to, much less would I care to air them in public.

Ya see Mr. Lepaul, it's not a perfect world...the sooner you realize that, the happier you're going to be.:)

Perhaps you are one of those cats whose glass is always half empty?

Peace!

Yes Karnak, and the Spit 9 from 1942 both outclimbed and outturned a TA152 at 40k ;)

Btw Karnak, I know the Spit 9 was a high altitude version and it was a very good plane indeed, but there is no WAY that you, nor anyone else in this thread will be able to convince me that it outperformaed TA152's above 30k, even less at 40k (Yes I've been outclimbed by Spits at 40k although I was light on fuel and WITH WEP on at that alt).

Half Full!

I know what you are saying, and I understand it.  But there are some annoying qualities to this game that haven't been addressed in ages, and we have every right to discuss the cons along with the Pros.  What I wanted to see, and the poll is showing marvelously, is that these top 8 issues I have also pester/annoy others.  We didnt say he hated the game, or go through a big ole negative rant.

If you only want "happy thoughts", fine.  But there are some issues, and I'm seeing if they bugs others to.  From there, I'll let the polls numbers speak for itself.

Happy thoughts by Wilbus!

Please give the TA152 the performance it should have, and was known to have. People didn't call it the best high altitud efighter of the war and "TA152 performance was on the limit of what is possible for a Piston engined plane" both today, and during the 40's.

What bugs me most about AH is my inability to hit anything with the guns in a LA7, 190D9, Spit, Hog, Pony, Ground guns, NIK2, etc etc! LOL!!

I can't hit a bull in the butt with a base fiddle! LOL! :)

Other than that? Well AH is what it is, and it can be a lot of fun.  :D

Only my $.02 of course, your mileage may vary ;)

LOL Eagle

Abunabi, one of my squaddies, is going straight to hell.  He's SO happy that the cities have churches....seems to be his first target everytime!  Right next to the building that looks like the major credit card issuer he works for!

That's how HE improved his aim  :D

I'll let the polls numbers speak for itself.

I knew it!!! You worked as a Democratic pollster on the Clinton campaign!!!

Your poll is flawed....when you give folks choices which only support your viewpoint, then your poll is corrupted and the results are skewed.

Tell ya what....I will assume the roll of the Anti-Lepaul and post a new revised poll which will accurately demonstrate the true sentiment of our little community towards the gameplay issues which you so dearly despise:)

Stay tuned!

Lepaul:
It occurs to me that, if crater effects are allowed then, what would be able to fix them on the affected airfield? In the actual war, there were maintenance crews or seebees that would patch up craters in airfields within hours after a bombing.
The cynical side of me anticipates those whines which would begin once a cratered field was repaired in a short period of time after they were damaged

I say leave that lil peeve as it is. I'm more concerned about the unreadable sector numbers on the inflight map and, the jumbled appearance of the field names/numbers on the map.

Rude,

I'm the most ardent conservative republican you'll ever meet.  Even hinting anything with my name and Clinton in the same line is a declaration of war  :D

As for the anti-LePaul...what, you are finally making that FORMAL?  Its been pretty obvious since day one

What drives me nuts?

The overabundance of Quake-kids with caPiTal letters spaced thoughout their names.  The types who use faux-hacker geek slang like "roxxor" and "joo".

The amount of punk kids flying when I left the online air-combat world 3 years ago was miniscule.  Today, they're rampant.   Almost makes me regret my return.

And we all thought that widespread low-cost internet access would be a GOOD thing.
