You know what the most pathetic thing of all is?

We actually need HTC to monitor the arena for infantile actions.

When the internet was hourly and so was the game, only the rich amazinhunks would come online with the sole intention of being amazinhunks... and those were few and far between.

Hell, now there's free internet... *sigh*

Now to address your point: I have taken issue ALL  my life with the notion that winning and making yourself better at something is the antithesis of having fun! Your arguement is, "Don't worry about winning! Don't worry about teaching newbies strategy! Don't worry about getting better! Just have fun!" Paugh! I was horsing around in the game but now I am serious. Don't pin you whiney "I am taking my plane and going home" attitude on me. You wanna play? Play. You don't? The cancel your account. It's on you man!

I've been away from AH for a long time. When I digup a faster PC I'll be back. However, there is such a thing as being overly sensitive and I friggen hate the cheats which are everywhere. As such, it can get very frustrating to sort the really god like from the code altered opportunists and after a few years there is no way to prevent eventually loosing it on an open channel.
However, I am unsure what Nuttz is on about, but it does seem like the younger players are having a laugh at civility and I would like to remove all the under 18's from the game.
My point about underage players and overly sensitive squelchers begins with my getting this Email from WB's

This kind of Email from out of nowhere was  some kind of a joke and is why I left Warbirds and why HTC may not want to send out these emails. There is no truth online! Chat box or otherwise. Eventually it is ramified in signoffs.
I don't believe a few words over a chat box did Nuttz the damage, I think it starts somewhere else and we have all felt it.

Funny how you quote me on words i never said. More or less you trash talked a whole generation Because they weren't flying your tactical way and our idea of "fun" had nothing to do with your tactical expertise, then we should cancel our accounts. I believe the quote was " you beatle lovin.. flower sniffing.."i just want to have fun weenies..." should go find another game to play. Then you continued to put words in my mouth about Something somebody else said, when i asked why you were giving me a hard time you said you felt like pissing somebody off. My point for cancelling my account, I refuse to log on and have somebody trying to piss me off because they " just" feel like it. And i think that was what HTC is talking about in the other threads. wasn't really what you said ,but the tone it was said.
Maybe i should of squelch, maybe not, but it's my choice to fly where, when, and how, and not yours. Your attitude last night to the rooks and anyone flying was Uncalled for. If you are having a bad night , you needed to log, instead of chasing off the ones that were online.
One less paying customer to HTC is no big deal, so i guess this argument is mute.

One thing I would like to comment on,

Your opinion that all under-18 players shouldn't be flying is..well... crap in my mind.

There are some great sticks out there who are younger, and the stereotype you flout is offensive to those who are not 'of age.' Including me as well.

This is one of the first times I've seen age being brought up on this board as a factor. Maybe because in Aces High, 40 year olds can act like 7th graders and vice versa. There aren't many 'kids' in here, but give some respect to those that are.

I'm not overly sensitive, but it's a pet peeve to be stereotyped.

As for your claims of all the 'cheats' out there.. well, nevermind.  

(this is entirely my opinion, which means you can regard it as crap or you can respect it as someone bringing another side to the table)

Maybe getting rid of Channel 1? And the messages telling you who you killed and who killed you would help? Hell I'll blame it on the Perk System too  

Then theres these forums...  HTC has control over them.  They own/run them dont they?  If there is any posts they do not feel should be there then they should remove them. They have the right to!  

If you had a forum of your own and thought someone posted something there that you felt shouldnt be there would you remove it?  I would.  If you have a point to get across go get your self some webspace and post your message and see who shows up.  If alot of people show up charge a subscription price and start your own game.

I very much enjoy this game and I dont have channel 1 turned on at all.  My son (7 years old) likes to see what his old man is up to and he reads everything.  sometime I even have to turn off my country channel. But If someone is trying to get ahold of me they do by sending it to me directly. Of course I get plenty of chat from my squad too.

If there are issues with gameplay or your stressing more over a game than with your work/school/life then that should be a reasonable reason for leaving...  but if someone is driving you "NUTTZ"  (sorry couldnt resist) then they should be the ones getting escorted to the door.  

This is supposed to be fun and relaxing.  Why am I posting this?  I dont even know you NUTTZ/Rash.  Maybe I am seeing a trend in here that I just dont like to see?  Most of the people here are very good people and treat each other very well.  Some people like it so much here they live here.  I dont like anything well enough to spend 200+ hours a month in and some people here do it!!!!  I dont spend more than 20-30 hours a month on any of my hobbies!! I gotta spend 160 hours a month making money to pay for my hobbies that dont leave me with much time.

Heck I pay my money so I can fly one of my most favorite planes, the Ar234 (which I have NOT gotten to fly in the MA yet!!   , my other favs B-58 and B-1 I love the challenge of sneaking in and blasting stuff and sneaking out hopefully alive)  I enjoy my freetime and flying is my hobby.

If you enjoy it you should stay.  If there are issues with the community then just dont "mingle" as much and turn off CH1 and ignore people you dont want to talk to.

IMO the problem is not only age, but juvenile acting people in general.

I've met some _really_ stupid individuals in this game and they really kill the immersion and fun from the game.

We all signed the end-user lisence when we took an account.. What's wrong with enforcing the rules?

A player who continuously harasses other players, cheats or flies n1k   should be put under surveillance by HT and removed unless they better their ways..

I usually do fly the Ju88 or Lanc but just cant get in to fly enough to earn the points.  I have 75 now after a month but dont want to fly the Ar234 cause if I do lose it then it could be another month    I waiting till I hit 100 then I will fly it
