As many of you know I’m not a big fan of GW or the republican party in general (although I do think he handled/is handling the 9/11 stuff well) but come on guys the man choked on a bite of food.
Unless you've been eating intravenously I bet it's happened to you.
I doesn't take much digging into domestic policy to find good reasons to sling mud, it makes you look kinda petty to take the cheap shot

From what I know, the american tradition of watching football includes heavy food and lots of beer..

So my guess is that Mr. President got drunk, tried to chase his wife in a moment of insanity and got bashed by her. Security guards came in, found him bleeding on the ground - enter the explanation.. uuuh.. ooh.. I had a salt cracker stuck in my throat.. yeah right

Hey pimp. How many people have you personally known, who have manage to injure themselves with a pretzel. The man is an embarrassment. That, "he is just human" argument don't wash. When that POS clinton was having his sex scandals, it didn't wash. And it don't wash now. The President IS held to a higher standard. Frankly, I would have serious misgivings about the mental development of a 4 year old, that had not mastered eating, to this degree.

Oh I dont know... I've seen people choke themselves on gumballs, steak etc. I've seen people fall out of chairs, down steps etc. I think this is simply an attempt by those who dislike Bush to protray him as some sort of goofy moron which he isnt.

The moron was the guy who did some fat chick w/a cigar and then denied it on national TV.

And is it me or does it seem like indiv's who arent even from the US seem to enjoy bashing our leaders?

The guy is in for 4 years...like it or not. We're still in a "war" that bodes ill for us again sometime in the future and some liberals suddenly decide to jump on a topic as pathatic as this... hell did it even happen? I didnt see anything on it recently?

Quite a few people have actually died from it. I for one am glad our President wasn't a number in that statistic. Nor am I embarassed about it. Potatoe, yeah that's embarassing but not this.....

My friend's daughter died that way, all because nobody in the family was proficient in first aid.

Oh and being an ex-EMT I have seen alot of people faint because of choking.
