The videoz are available to download on http://www.kazaa.com if you have broadband internet access.

You may need DivX 4.21 and DivX 3.11 codecs to play them back on Windows Media Player. A search on http://www.google.com will give you download sites for the codecs if you need them.

Most of them are pretty good quality, and if you have a TV out socket on your videocard and can play them back through that, the quality is superior to VHS videos, even on a big widescreen set.

Wait a minute! you mean the codec isn't bundled w/ the player? You give us a link to google to do our own search?

I think BoB will be out on DVD in the next few months or HBO should replay it on Veterens day or Memoral day.

On the last show Capt. Sobbel shows up, passes Major Winters but doesn''t salute. Winters tells him.. Capt Sobbel you salute the uniform not the man... heheheh I thought that was justice.

I thought the best ep was with Corpsman Gene Roe. "hey Babe I got your supplies"

"You just called me by my nickname"

"I did didn't I.... howbout that"

Download the program, install, run (it will auto connect to servers), enter Band Brothers and choose videos in the drop down box underneath, then press search. A list of all available episodes will then be displayed. Double-click on each to d/l.

WMP will play most, if not all, of them - but as I have DivX already installed I don't know for sure if it's required. The best quality and smallest downloads generally do however.

Don't blame me, blame MS - they took out the DivX compatability at beta stage of the latest version of WMP. :)

Kazaa has a host of other possibilities for those seeking to maximise their internet connection (posh speak for: It's warez monkey heaven...)

I agree with Thrawn. Besides, I think the whole thing was pretty average. The first couple of episodes were good, but it rapidly went downhill and by the end of the series I was a bit bored. The only good thing to say was at least it didn't have the irritating sentamentality of SPR; Winter's 'tired stare into the distance' started to wear thin though.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

I checked the BoB website at Christmas.  It said that the release date was scheduled for November 2002.

You read that correctly.....November 2002.:(
