What is the fastest speed you have ever attained on a public road 2 wheeled and 4 wheeled?

2 wheeled was my ZX-6R race bike in Arizona heading to Tucson.  172 true, 180+ indicated on speedo.  Was awesome 10 bikes screaming passing people like they were standing still, crazy?  You bet won't ever do that again.

4 wheeled was in my friends 69 camaro SS in Indiana hit 160, worse thing was watching them put their lap belts on in the front seat and I asked um wheres mine?

115MPH in a Honda Civic with straight pipe exhaust/cat, intake, 2 1/2" headers and a turbo... of course right when I hit 115 I found a cop sitting behind me and got pulled over...

The other part of the story is even better (when I went into court)... You ever gotten a ticket for going that fast, then talked to the judge and he lowers it to 67MPH in a 50 zone?

4 wheels:
208 MPH in a CompEliminator car I ran for 3 years. Of course it was only 4 wheels 60 feet _after_ the start line.

2 wheels, hmm maybe 30 mph? Never ridden anything faster than a Mountain Bike

4 wheels: 145 MPH in a Datsun 280Z Yuma to Tucson.

2 wheels 120 mph on my own BMW on a 2 lane very empty in Nevada

2 wheels 125 mph IN Tucson responding to an Officer need help call on the Department Kawasaki KX1000P. VERY scary with traffic and the kaw's tendency to wobble at high speed. Got the shakes afterward when I realized how stupid it was.

180 MPH in my Piper Comanche Sunday evening

Wow... the civic that I get around in can, I think, make 90 mph, downhill, with only one person in the car. Maybe. If you're lucky.
Prob'ly more like 60-70 uphill with one person.

Somewhere around 240 kph for sustained time on the A5 fm just north of Karlsruhe to Baden-Baden.  Very nice motorcycle ride.

I still got passed by 3 cars and 2 bikes

Only been about 190 kph in a car - I don't feel as safe in them, go figure.

Cheers

Anyone ever heard a fishing story where the fish gets bigger every time the story gets told?
