Tonight was one of those nights where everything seems to go well. Gunnery was good, jabo accuracy was right on, connect was good, I was having a good time socially on the ch. 1 and with my countrymates, everything was going my way.
When I first logged on around 5 pm Central, Knights were in the hole. Only a few fields in the southeast section belonged to the Knightlandian Empire. I decided to grab a B17 and pork a field or two in order to slow the Bishop advance. A little bit into this sortie, former territory is regained by the Knights. This sets off an explosion of cooperation and field captures. One after another, the Knights were drunk with glee as they saw their progress sweep across the lands and liberating countless miles of territory from the evil Bishop Regime. Within two hours the Knightlandian Empire had nearly trippled its original territory! Most of my countrymen didn't know what had happened! Several Knights wondered where the Knights of old had gone (the furballin, unorganized dweebs

).
After a while of conquering and vulching, I decided to take a relaxing B17 flight in the mellow light of the AH sunset (and grab some food during climbout). Midway through the flight I noticed 3 sector bars on the fringe of the maniacal Rookland heating up. Several Knights suggested it was a furball. Octavius thought different... trouble was brewing. A random furball in Rook controlled territory was not feasable... My flight continued deep into the evil Bishop territory. My target: Bishop capital. Upon arrival I caringly unleashed my cargo upon the bish citizens. After the drop, I checked the radar and noticed a Rook SWARM in the southern parts of Knightlandia. Oh the HORROR it was!! It was a Rookland invasion upon sacred Knightland soil. After about 45 minutes, the evil scum known as "Rook" had pillaged a fairly large chunk of Knightland, all the way to Knight HQ. While the bulk of the our country scrambled in the south, a few valiant Knights stealthily overtook the A9 area with little resistance. Knight morale shot up like a rocket. These knights were men of honor, more than that, they were
heroes... for about 5 minutes. The A9 liberation was quickly subdued and the Knight Empire was back to where it started.
Tonight was one of those nights you'll remember for a while. I enjoyed every minute of it. A
BIG to the Rooks for their excellent blitzkrieg style attack around 8:30 pm Central time. Even though their numbers more than doubled the Knight force (

), I still had a blast. And another
to all the Knights too!
Was a blast!
