Isn't this just one of those realism features everyone keeps insisting on? Radio intercepts were an everyday occurence in every war since Marconi.

Not to be insensitive...

12 real world hours....meaning if you switch at 10PM you wont be able to come back until 10AM.the next morning.

If anyone was wondering what use a second monitor could fill for AH, this is it...I put both WinAMP and Roger Wilco up on it.  I always know who's on RW & what song is playing

What on earth could you be discussing that has such great importance? "Hey, that huge red awacs radar bar coming to A1 is the enemy!"

I guess Im used to squad rw which is people talking, laughing, and more or less roadkillting. Although you call 6's or something, I can't remember any great information. (sourses I guess)

Had you not gotten all super serious and booted the guy, you could have really messed with him. I would have typed on red squad channel we had a guest in rw, and made up some toejam to mess with him. You could have really spoofed him.

That or talked to him and had fun.

Ya know, now that you mention it that has happened to me too.  A month or so ago when I switched to Bish to join Hangtime's squad, I was on a RW channel in Rooks and it carried over.  I noticed it at the time but it never sunk in what was going on.  Sorry for my earlier comment.....I guess this would be something that HTC may be able to solve program-wise.  Like maybe kicking you out of RW if you switch countries and forcing you to re-log onto RW ....that way you would only be able to hit your own countries channels that are under 200.

Creamo,

You're definitely right - 90% of the time, we're all just joking around. An example of the other 10% however..

You have a mission going on coordinated by the RW chan and your goon driver says 'ok, I'm in 7.8.3'. Suddenly, a radar bar spikes at 8.8 and a mass of red fighters suddenly heads straight for where the goon transmitted from.

Anyway, it *is* just a game, but there is competition going on nevertheless and something like this doesn't help it.

/edit - sling: there is a good explanation for this. You're directly connected via IP to that RW chan and I dont know if it can boot you automatically when you change countries. In this case, said pilot had changed countries and hopped on our RW as well, so he had access to radio chan 2 as well.

Your right creamo. But most of the people involved where not in the same squad so the red channel was not available. I had forgotten how nice that squad channel is..

Had a distastefull friend or fiend whichever! who went ot the others sid and earned a little trust then started throwing up brilliant missions well designed. But he then told the enemy about everything. An while all the others were on his misions his loyal side blitzed there bases and put about 4 pony and chogs or anything else with hitting powere 47s above each raid's parade rout. Easy perks. Holds half the country down. And he gave play by play info from each mision he like had a retype program.
