ABUSE OF CM powers in CT
« on: February 13, 2002, 11:48:55 PM »
by arsewipe hblair in the CT...

i was saying how 3 on 1's aren't truly needed, then hblair gets all blue text and "i'm warning you"

i was not abusive nor vulgar and was being responded to, nor singling anyone out - even tho' i'm known for my smack, it was no where near any level that would allow a petty-minded, anal rententive futward like hblair to boot and ban me from the arena.... here's a fugging clue for the fugwad that hblair is.... i was not vulgar, i was not abusive unless the phrase "3 on 1's aren't necessary with dweeb of your so-called caliber in here" wounded his poor little ego.

if you don't like what you're seeing, .squelch shane, ignore shane... nothing, and i mean nothing of what i had said deserved this quite abusive response by hblair - not this time, anyway, and i dare anyone in that arena to say or prove otherwise.

i'm also filing a formal complaint with HTC about this abuse of powers, and i dare hblair to show any justification for the action he took.  he was simply flexing his CM powers like an stunninghunk.  now i understand why people look down on the CM corps.

of course many of you will say, hahah, yay...  still nothing of what i was saying approached anywhere enar the level of smack some of you have seen, i was actually pretty calm, and trying to show that a 3 on 1 is no fun when it occurs over and over, especially with the caliber of pilot that frequents the CT.

all i have to say is screw you hblair and the CM horse you've abused.

This is exactly why NO player, CM or not should have the specific ability to boot or ban (outside of scenario's in progress).

IMHO, only HTC should be able to do this.

Shane, right or wrong, you are one of the more vocal members of the community lol, not suprised you'd get the attention, although it was not warranted if it happened exactly as you described.  I've witnessed FAR worse in the MA and can only assume it goes on in the CT too at times.  This doesn't do anything at all to dispell the "elitist" image I've heard of the CT, and surely won't help the numbers there (which I've been patiently watching increase).

...I knew this was going to happen haha.

Its a really good time to let Shane's ignorance stand on its own.  I strongly urge everyone to avoid this one completely.  There is absolutely nothing good that can come of this.

Hblair was playing 800 pound gorilla, and totally wrong in what he did. Period. He way overstepped the bounds of his powers.

diddly Hblair and the horse he rode in on, this guy has the "mall cop" mentality, you give a person with a shallow and meaningless life a tad bit of power and he turns in DA DA DA SUPERCOP.  So get a life Hblair and redirect that little bit of power that you think you have into building a better relationship with yourself. AMEN Shane and Kudos for standing up to the AH nazis

Wow..never heard of Stat2000.

Anyhow...I aint going to say you are wrong Shane, but you were lipping off, you were WARNED repeatedly.  And AFTER the warning you taunted Hblair to take action.

He asked you to cool it...

you kept going.

He typed in Blue to let you know "I'm serious".

And you said something to the efect of..LOL!  Typing in blue...OOOOoo I'm scared.  And continued.

I did not see anything real vulgar, but I was flying and may have missed something.  I had no idea you were ejected until you came back in and carried on where you left off.

the first thing you should do is drop the shovel.

Remember the other day when I lost the advantage and ran back to France in my Hunstang?

You got bent out of shape and started in with the channel 1 smack talk, I twisted your nose a bit then squelched you,   I also  called in the "gangbangers" to come get you but you finally turned back ;)

A lot of folks use the CT as a break from the MA and don't want to listen to children throwing their toys out of the pram everytime it doesn't go their way.

In the CT I fly like I would if engaged in real combat.... to survive.

If I want mindless furballing and trash talk I fly the MA.

Hblair didn't permanently ban you from the CT, he just gave you some time in the "corner".

actually the "ooo i'm scared" was from the first boot. after relogging and telling him it was inappropriate and uncalled for based on the mildness of the whooooollleee situation i basically ignored him. i tried to give AKmork fair warning about whining or he'd get booted. I also said that apparently it's who you know that indicates where the line is drawn.  our discussion was very mild, it was a *discussion* more than anything between YOU and I, no one else.

the films went to HTC, wonder how this'll be handled.

My gut feel is hblair will come out clean as a whistle.  He a straight up guy been here and dedicated to the cause since day one.  I suspect he was trying to keep the MA smack out of the CT (kudos for that).   I doubt you got much of a prayer on this one shane.  Probably should have just kept yer trap shut after the first boot...hehe

Still time to delete these posts however, that can only help yer cause.

Cc: who the hell is stat2000?

not disputing this contention at all, funked, but it doesn't give Hblair the right to throw his weight around like that.

It was uncalled for and totally inappropriate given the specific situation both boots occurred in.
