Yesterday, I found myself in the tower of a field being vulched. So, I figured I'd grab an ack and have at 'em. However, my first two choices were destroyed. The last gun seemed ok, so I clicked on "H". Lo and behold, this gun is laying on the ground in pieces.
The barrel over here, the gunsight over there. What the hell, I hit the trigger anyway. Damned if the barrel-less, sight-less ack doesn't actually fire!. However, there's no reference to use as a sight. This makes it darn hard to track and hit a con. Then it dawned on me. Use the Cursor! I fire the gun and align the cursor with the tracer. Yes, this will work, I think! Five minutes later, two Spitfires are dead, and one B-26 badly mauled. All by a gun that, from the air, appeared to be destroyed, lacking a barrel or gunsight. I doubt that even Ripley would believe it, but it's true.
Interesting bug.....
