(Yes, I'm aware that this is a whine, and I'm aware that that I'm going to whine about whines...ha ha ha...anyway.)

I'm so sick and tired of people squeaking about bugs and stuff on the bbs and worse on the game channels.  Not pointing them out, but squeaking.  HTC does a wicked job and had made a wicked game for us to play in.  They take their own time to join the MA and they have to put up with this squeaking.

For the love of god give it a break.  They have a hell of alot more patience then I do.  They do their best and then they have to deal with this BS.

If you notice a bug or a gameplay issue, then fine, go to the proper section of the board and point it out, bring evidence if you can, be polite, be succinct.

I can't think of any reason not to have basic manners in this respect.  


And thanks HTC for making this wonderful game.  I'm sure you guys know that for every jerk out there, there are 10 people who really appreciate what you do.

It was odd to see Hitech on today getting bombarded by questions.

He was just trying to play, he likes his creation.

People were being downright rude to the guy!

I do admit I went after his p47 when someone mentioned where he was flying :)  He still outran my lowly seafire in his p47, and I assume landed his 5 kill sortie.

Things got so bad though, that shortly thereafter he logged in disgust, proclaiming his dismay on open VOX.

Shocked me to see it.

Hitech white mode = player.
blue mode = on the clock.

Ettiquette level in MA is suprising low...

Sometimes I think you should fly under some Secret Agent handle hitech...maybe then you could play the game in peace. It sucks that it has to come to something like that...but being harrassed everytime you come into the arena has to be annoying.

You know.... I've been playing flight syms for years now, I've never squelched anyone, or flew under sunglasses. It's a game that should be enjoyed, If that had to change I wouldn't be playing this "game". So I can understand in some sort of way why Hitech would fly under his handle and wear it proud, regardless of the insensitivejerks some of us can be at times.

Actually it is total BS.  Everyone needs to realize when HT is on-line and not in blue he is enjoying his creation.  It is not right when some yahoo continues to ask him stupid questions when he is playing.  Damn!  Leave the guy alone!

Hey, HT i feel sorta guilty for the way u logged tonight.  I was one of the peeps who asked ya Q's while u flying.  Well not a question really, i was sort of saying stuff while peeps were asking u Q's.

HT, i don't know why u don't just squelch ch1 or login under a different name- i know i would, i can understand how stressful it is with 30+ peeps asking Q's, whinging etc etc.

NOBODY should have to live with a name besides the one they want to use, least of all HiTech himself.  Why should he have to lose his identity every time he logs on?  He's "HiTech", not "putzboi" or "8675309" or "blargman".   What's the point of playing a social game if nobody's going to know you anyway?
