As an alternative to some of the negative threads on the board, I'm starting a thread about cool kills.
Becase as we all know, reliving a kill is almost as good as getting a kill =)

so bring it on, describe what plane you were in, what you shot down, and what made it special..

When HTC first implimented the beautiful sunrise effect, they had just started up the new server and we were the first to see the effect in the MA. As I was flying the sun began cresting over the horrizon as the sky turned all orange. It was really cool.

The P-38L I bounced 5 seconds later must have been thinking the exact same thing.

I performed a perfect co-e lead turn that got me d200 off an f4u's 6.. he didn't know i was there until i let loose

why was this special? when you get as few kills as i do, they're all special =)

last night i was part of a raid taking some base (doesnt matter really.)

i was in a b17 and had dropped on a couple tanks and part of the city, but still had 2 500s left.

i saw a friendly m3 approaching the town, but decided to swing around for one last check. Through the smoke i saw ack firing. OHHH watermelon musta been a gv hiding!!!!. I look through the nord ans spot a small green dot.. "ah hah! there you are you little bastige M16!!!!" I pickle both my eggs on it.

"OH CRAAAAAAAP that was a train firing and now it has dissappeared! OHHHH CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP there are friendly troops beside that "bastige M16" OHHHHHHHHHHH CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP i am about to killshoot myself like nobody has ever killshot themselves before!!!!!!"

BOOM back into the tower, killshot myself with a 1000lbs of bombs

I made a horrible mistake lastnight and allowed an La7 to jump me. I eventually evaded long enough so that the horde could catch up. I saw a Hurricane closing, so I manuvered into him and let the hurri kill me instead of the La7

Was when we were first testing the panzer turret movement. Pyro and I are up on the test server, im in the panzer. Pyros circling me at about 2k, I figure what the heck and shoot an AP round at him.

Killed him on the first shot out of a tank that I ever shot at a plane. At first we thought we had a bug.

Too many cool kills to remember but most recently I was returning from a solo bomb strike against rook HQ when I came across a rook Lanc headed in the same general direction as me. He was at 18k and I was at 15k in my Ki-67.

I got directly below the guy and started a gentle climb up. In no time I was about 200 yards in front and 800 yrds below him in parallel course. Jumped to the 20mm aft turret and popped him with about 30 rounds getting my first Ki67 vrs Lanc kill

FW 190 D9 attacked me from above. I split-s'd twice, but he was still on me....

Headed for the deck in desparation.

Suddenly I notice an FW 190 overtaking me to my left. Cut throttle and eased in behind him...one trigger pull & he exploded.

Flying off of a cv tonight, a spit14 was making a nuisance of himself, so I decide to grab for some alt above the cv. I get co alt about 10k and turn in to engage the spit. He meanwhile is busy roping a teammate. He flys straight up about d400 in front of me then turns back down. I follow and give him about a 40 round burst and his wing pops off. Now not my best kill but certainly up there

-262 vs 262, I fired 1 bullet at the d800 262 to see if he would turn.. and he turned into the bullet. *PING* and his tail went out on a tangent *G*

-Vulching a field, flying through hangars 'cause im bored.. and a n1k spawns in the FH im about to fly through.. let loose with me 5 cals, blow the n1k up and fly through its fireball. Su-WEET.

-Dropping a bomb onto a runway of a field im passing through on my way to target, enemy mission spawns and I bag more than half the mission. (like 6 tours ago mwaahah).
