small scale combat theatre reset series
« on: September 17, 2001, 04:53:00 AM »
I would like to make a series of high detail small size terrains for the combat theatre.

terrains not needing to be full scale. perhaps less.

terrains that are created to be won as a battle.

once the battle is won by one side the map resets and a new battle is begun.

this will be well suited to the smaller numbers that frequent the CT and give the players an objective.

the current CT is mind numbing to me.

there is no point in furballing there when you cant accomplish anything other than furballing. can go to ma for that.

my objective with this series is to create a setting for historic battles that can be fought in a series.

long range mind numbing missions are not what i want to see.

i want close in the face action of combined arms.

now i have to figure out how to use the terrain editor  :)

Ok hblair... that was mean.   I'm sorry.   Heck, I know that they really don't want to find each other.

i like the current eto europe map

it would be more fun if it was reduced in size by half making it a 256 mile terrain.

then all that extra real estat could be used to give needed details and targets for jabos to hit in the map.

the smaller the map the more detail can be put in it from what i understand so far
