Aces High and the big vote.
« on: April 18, 2000, 08:32:00 PM »
Currently the Furball Poll asks the question, 'Who will be on top in 2001?'.

Havn't got many Aces High votes which made me wonder until I realized I'd forgotten to post here about it. Sorry.

Tell you what, you find an extra $30 bucks a month in your budget to pay for my flying time, and I'm THERE!

Oh, btw, you may notice that all the sims listed are WWII era prop sims. DoA is therefore not listed. After all, I wanted to give the rest of these sims a chance of winning.

How do you vote for the poll?  I keep clicking on the furball poll link, and it just refreshes the page.

check and make sure you dont have another window open. the UBB opens other sites in new windows so if you have another window open in the background, it may be there.

Target,

Making sure that another window is not open does not work. We still can't get to the poll. Any suggestions???

Heee he he. I liken it to the Mustang Car Club of America taking a poll on favorite cars... but publicly announcing the poll a just a wee bit after the Club members have had thier votes tallied first

LOL, except that the first people I told where the guys at the B-17 II UBB and the one in the lead at the outset was WWIIOL. Hehe.

Mouthpiece is a strong word. I'm a fan site devoted mostly to Warbirds and Dawn of Aces. As such my scope is limited and my relationship with iEN cordial. iEN friendly? Sure. Mouthpiece? No. Not even close.

You should really go by and see the site before you say stuff like that. LOL

Warbirds is running in 4th place at the moment, beat out, in part, by Aces High.

Target. We all vote with our money. You,ll just have to wait to see how it turns out.

The winner in all of this IMO will be the first co. that recognizes that there are two markets out here. And installs 2 lagitimet  arenas. You have the old burnouts, that need more and more strat to feed there addiction. And the very nessesary newbie,s. That just want to get into a fight as quick as posibile and have some fun. some of us old timers feel that way too  .

WB has its ACA but the FM is a ripoff. AH has the training arena, But it is what it is, a training arena.
