if its got bad grammer/spelling its cos the translation thing i use is crap

well, german langauge does not have gerundium like english or latin. with a litlle construction you get "Die Briten sind kommend", this is the correct translation that preserves the sense("Die briten kommen" could mean that the british could come now, or in a week, or in two....), but that sounds stupid.
