I used to love going down there while I was an undergrad (low all those year ago) I recognised the hangar, its hard to miss from the freeway. You live out in Mo Valley?

cc....Grew up in Redlands, but can't afford to live there any more.:( My company sits at the north end of the March ARB runway. Great for watching planes, not for getting work done.

That's very cool. I really like that museum better than most. There's a premium on plane displays and a minimum of boring crap I don't care about. I miss that place, but I don't miss the smog over in Riverside. Although I'm allergic to something here in DC, so I guess I'm damned if I do damned I don't. :(

What are they doing with March AFB anyways?  I went to a pretty good airshow there a couple years back, haven't heard of anything since.

OK for double bonus, what is that next to the MiG-23?
Original manufacturer designation, not the designation used by the country who manufactured that particular unit.  :)

Looked it up, but I won't cheat this time. Didn't realize how many countries built this plane.....still in production too.
